Description
VLC is a free and open source cross-platform multimedia player.
It can play all your movies, shows and music in most formats directly without conversion.
It allows file synchronization with Dropbox, GDrive, OneDrive, Box, iCloud Drive, iTunes, direct downloads and through Wi-Fi sharing as well as streaming from SMB, FTP, SFTP, NFS, UPnP/DLNA media servers and the web.
VLC offers support for advanced subtitles including full SSA compatibility, multi-track audio, playback speed control and rendering through Chromecast.
VLC is completely free and open source.

Ratings and Reviews
Great app but I have a problem
While it used to work earlier, now I cannot download subtitles through the app. It searches on opensubtitles and doesn’t come across any results at all. I don’t think I am doing something wrong.
Overheating issues
Apps work fine (although it would be nice to have more crop options like in pc rather than select presets which stretch the image) but I have serious overheating issues during playback in my iPad Air 5 which is very weird considering the tablet has the M1 chip. Of course by overheating the max brightness falls dramatically. PLEASE FIX THIS SOON!!!
An excellent app
VLC is the best video player for ios. Unfortunately, I had to give it a 4/5 stars due to the fact that in latest version, a bug exists and I cannot copy files via usb.
