Hello everyone,
The Apple website says that there are two iPad mini models available for sale in the US:
http://store.apple.c...mini#tech-specs
Model A1454*
GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz)
UMTS/HSPA+/DC-HSDPA (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz)
LTE (Bands 4 and 17)
Model A1455*
CDMA EV-DO Rev. A and Rev. B (800, 1900, 2100 MHz)
GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz)
UMTS/HSPA+/DC-HSDPA (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz)
LTE (Bands 1, 3, 5, 13, 25)
Does anybody know which one will work with the 4G network in Greece provided by cosmote? I believe that's the only 4G network available.
Thank you very much for your help

Thank you everyone.
Will the 1455 work on both 4G networks, Cosmote and Vodafone? Are there any other 4G networks I am unaware of? Any recommendations regarding which one is cheaper or better?

Yes. Will support both.
A1455 model is the one being compatible with the bands here in Europe generally.
LTE here in Greece, is a "joke" at the moment.. That's the only word which describes it better.
Cosmote has a little bit more coverage than Vodafone.

U should check lte coverage from the two mentioned providers from their official sites...
In general the two large cities Thessaloniki and Athens have lte at the moment..I also think some tourist islands do too.
Both voda and cosmote are quiet good but the coverage varies from territory to another.
As for the financial point I think they are about the same..
Cosmote that I used gives u for 20euros a SIM card for the ipad (u have to give your passport data or Id for that,so that it ll be matched with the provided SIM card) and after that u go to a specific site, subscribe and get another 20eur bonus. Then u buy a data package within the site (1 day usage and 100 mb, 15 day 1gb, 1 month 2gigs).
