DataViz, the well known developer of the Documents To Go suite announced that they are readying Documents To Go for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

Documents To Go let’s users edit and view Microsoft Word-, Excel- and PowerPoint-documents.

Documents to go already exists for several other mobile platforms like BlackBerry, Palm, Windows Mobile and Symbian (Nokia).

The normal price for DataViz is +-30$ for all the previous platforms, but Dataviz has promised to release the app for a cheaper price.

Here are new pictures of Documents To Go, which will allow the application to read and edit Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point. There are also new details on the functions of copy and paste tips to select the text. In particular:

     * With a double tap, select a word
     * With a triple tap, select an entire sentence
     * With a single tap prolonged, we can move the finger and select a piece of text at will, as at present with Clippy
