Ακολουθήστε με τη σειρά τα παρακάτω βήματα μετα απο ένα 24ωρο.
1. Log-out of your Apple account for both iMessage and FaceTime if you are logged in.
2. Turn off iMessage and FaceTime in the settings menu.
3. In 'Settings' > 'General' > 'Reset' use the 'Reset Network Settings' option.
4. Reconfigure the device according to your network's instructions when it re-starts.
5. Send test SMS and MMS messages to ensure they are active and configured correctly.
6. In Contacts locate your own entry and ensure the handset's current number (in correct international format) is entered with the type 'iPhone' not 'Mobile'.
7. In 'Settings' > 'Mail, Contacts Calendars' make sure you have selected your own entry in the 'My Info' field (in the Contacts section).
8. In 'Settings' > ' My Number' make sure your new number is displayed and amend if it's not.
9. Hard-reset the phone (power and menu buttons until the Apple logo shows).
10.Re-enable iMessage and FaceTime. When it becomes visible the old phone number may still be visible whilst waiting for activation.
11.Leave the device for a few minutes.
12.Eventually activation will complete and the old number will be replaced with the new phone number.
