Ο άνθρωπος πίσω απο το JailBreakMe, ο γνωστός στους περισότερους ως Comex δηλώνει παρών "ξεκλειδώνοντας" (και) το Apple Watch. Χρησιμοποιώντας απλά κάποιον Web Browser. Προφανώς και η χρηστικότητα όλου αυτού είναι μηδενική, παρόλα αυτά αποδεικνύεται ξανά πως δυνατότητες υπήρχαν και θα συνεχίσουν να υπάρχουν. Μιλάμε καθαρά για προσπέλαση του SDK τρέχοντας των κώδικα απευθείας στη συσκευή και όχι απλά για κάποιο App.
Ο ίδιος δηλώνει:
Not until the native SDK is released some time in the future. For now, all WatchKit apps consist of a stub on the watch side that receives commands from the phone over a very low bandwidth Bluetooth connection and translates them into UI elements, and yes, the use of this stub is enforced technically. And you can't just submit arbitrary nibs or something to get a web view on there; the UI description format is custom and (mostly?) limited to what WatchKit actually offers. You could do something based on sending screenshots from the phone to the watch (there is such an app already), but it'd be very slow.
